About Us

The Olmsted Falls Soccer Association (O.F.S.A.) was formed in 1981 as a non-profit organization to be an advocate of recreation by providing organized soccer to the community. We are celebrating over three decades of serving the Olmsted communities. The income from registration fees is used for operating expenses (grass cutting, field striping, building and equipment maintenance). O.F.S.A. is a volunteer organization; counting on community members to participate in the administration of the organization, and the training & oversight of the youth program.

We are constantly looking at improving our program by examining our policies and how the program is run.  New ideas are always welcomed. We have two youth soccer programs and one adult soccer program. Our In-house recreational program is a community league with an emphasis on instruction. This program is open to all community members from the age of four through the eighth grade. The teams are organized by age and grade. Our Travel Program is a inter- community program where our teams compete against those from other communities in organized, competitive leagues.

This program is open to all community members, but selection is determined during yearly try-outs. The teams are organized by age group as defined by the sanctioning league.  The objective of the travel program is to continue to develop develop the building blocks of soccer – close control, passing, dribbling, and ball possession.
