Travel Soccer

Registration is now open for the 2026–2027 OFSA Travel Soccer Season Evaluations.

For players who aspire to play in high school and beyond, the OFSA Competitive Travel Soccer Program is where that journey begins. Players participate in both a fall and spring season, with 8 games each season — 4 home games in Olmsted Falls and 4 away games that require travel. At the younger age groups, travel is typically minimal, with most games played within a 30-minute radius of Olmsted Falls.

Players also have the option to participate in à la carte winter training sessions and indoor games to stay sharp and continue their development. OFSA’s Travel Program is designed to provide the next level of coaching, training, and competitive play for young athletes.

OFSA Travel will be hosting player evaluations for all age groups this spring. These evaluations will be conducted by the high school coaching staff along with current travel coaches.

As many families know, U.S. Soccer has updated the way age groups can be formed. For the 2026–2027 season, teams are being organized using an August 1 through July 31 seasonal-year cycle rather than the old calendar-year method. The chart below shows which birthdates fall into each age group.

At this time, we are only accepting players entering 2nd grade, with birth years as young as 2019. Our goal is to keep grade levels together as much as possible. If a player’s birthdate falls outside of the birthdate range typically associated with their grade, they should attend the tryout session that corresponds with their birthdate-based age group.

Our goal is to place every player on a travel team; however, the league does enforce maximum roster sizes. Multiple teams within an age group may be formed when enough players are available. If there are not enough players to form multiple teams, some players may be encouraged to continue development in the recreational league. Travel teams are formed for two seasons: fall and spring.

Interested players are required to attend their age-group evaluation session to be considered for travel soccer. Evaluations will be held at Schady Soccer Complex.
